Department Mission Statement

We will ensure that our learning environment is respectful and engaging. Where possible we will ensure that it is both culturally responsive and appropriate. Students will feel safe and supported in the classroom. When involved in education outside the classroom we will adhere to school policy ensuring ākonga are safe on school trips. We will adapt practice and pedagogy in response to the needs of ākonga in our classes.
