Year 9 Barbecues

Once again the Year 9 form class BBQs proved a huge success with an overwhelming number of parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents attending.   It was a delight to be able to meet the families of our Year 9 students and to be able to welcome them personally to the school.  It was also a great opportunity, in a relaxed environment, for the parents to meet the Form Teacher of their son as well as the Dean and Senior Management.
 
Outlined at the bbqs was the importance of family input to the education of their son and how we can collectively, both school and at home, gain the best possible education for their son whilst attending Hastings Boys’ High School.   Whether over a sublimely cooked sausage or meat pattie, the bbqs again proved their worth.
