Fees

	Administration Fee:		$500

	Tuition Fee: Provides all tuition, including English language costs for the year		$NZ11,275 (p.a.)

	Incidentals: Provides for the school uniform, stationery, examination fees, class and school trips, basic sports equipment, insurance, pocket money and bicycle. These funds are held by the school.		Est.Cost $NZ3,000

	Homestay Accommodation Fee: ($200 for 45 weeks)		$9,000

	( Approximate total costs $NZ23,775.00)		$23,775

	Refund of Tuition Fee – the school will part refund the fees if a boy is unable to complete any year of study

Insurance

International students are required to have medical and travel insurance cover. Hastings Boys’ High School has an arrangement with Uni-Care for this purpose – application forms can be obtained from the school.

General Notes

International students attending Hastings Boys’ High School are:

Not permitted to drive a car or ride a motorcycle
Required to obey the rules of the school
Required to deposit Passports, Visas and travel documents with the school for safe keeping

English Language Tuition

International students at Hastings Boys’ High School are mainstreamed into classes according to their age and English language ability. They are expected to sit New Zealand Qualifications Authority Examinations (NZQA) which make them eligible for entry to a New Zealand University or Polytechnic.
