Badminton

Badminton at Hastings Boys' High School provides a supportive and fun environment for all levels of players including those wishing to learn to play badminton or those wanting to enjoy regular competition in the School Badminton League.  The School League provides competition from D-Grade up to A-Grade depending on the students level of experience and runs during the school term in Terms 2 and 3.  Regular competition along with practices provides players with the opportunity to improve both their technical skills and fitness.

Badminton players at Hastings Boys' High School also have the opportunity to compete in the Local Inter-school Teams and Individual Badminton Competition and can also be selected to compete against the best in New Zealand in the National Super 8 Competition. Both of these competitions provide an exciting opportunity to play against the top regional and national players.
