The North Island Junior Championships were held this week in Palmerston North.

On the first day we won our first game, then lost the second two which sent us to compete in Divison 2.

We topped our pool sending us to the quarterfinals and we won in style.

We then played in the semi finals and we just lost to Hamilton Boys' which forced us to play for bronze in 3rd/4th for Divison 2.

Losing again to One Tree Hill College with unforced errors costing us the game.

Coming 4th in division 2 is a great achievement, and we came 20th out of 48 schools in the Boys' division which is an even greater achievement.

Volleyball at Hastings Boys' High School continues to be a force with development of the game being produced locally in Hastings.
