Waka Ama

HBHS Manu Huia Waka Ama Team - Won Gold (time of 1:02.04)

Basketball

HBHS Junior A and Junior Development Basketball Teams had the privilege to compete In Rotorua for the top prize.  Here are the results:

Junior A

HBHS Junior A won 5 out of their 6 games only losing to Liston High School from Auckland by 3 points in the semi-finals, HBHS Junior A coming third at the tournament, beating Te Awamutu.

Junior Development

Junior Development won 6 out of 6 games topping their pool and advancing to the grand final and coming second at the tournament, losing to Taupo.

Both junior teams played really well at the tournament showing the Akina man values.
