Course Description:

  • Weight room introduction and expectations.
  • Strength and Conditioning introduction: Understanding the importance of strength and conditioning.
  • Understanding the components of a session: mobility, activation and exercise movement competency and the fundamental movement skills.
  • Skill development for rugby. 
  • Nutrition, recovery and building resilience.
  • Testing: Strength, speed, power and aerobic fitness. 


Entry Requirements:
Entry into courses are subject to head of department approval.
