On 19 March a group of talented athletes competed in the 2025 East Coast North Island Athletics Championships at Mitre 10 Sports Park.

Staff were really impressed with all our boys' effort and the way they conducted themselves was a credit to the school. Some outstanding Individual efforts notably

Troy Pautsch who dominated the intermediate field events winning the Discus, Shot Put, Javelin and Hammer throw.

Other notable performances Raef Robinson winning the senior 100m and long jump

Alex Wilson winning the senior 400m and 800m

Jake Frazerhurst winning the junior long jump

Josh Lubbe winning the intermediate 400m
