Forestry Scholarships for students with an interest in Science, Engineering, Management. Help NZ reach it’s climate goals, enhance and protect our country’s biodiversity, optimise land use potential and create new industries. Bachelor of Forestry at University of Canterbury (Maori students) $8,000 per year for 4 years,Diploma in Forestry Management at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology (Bay of Plenty), for Maori students, $7,000 per year for 2 years,Bachelor of Forestry Engineering at University of Canterbury, open to all students, $8,000 per year for 4 years. Applications for PwC Scholarships are now open and close Friday 7th July! There are 3 types of scholarships: Support for students experiencing financial or personal hardship,Ma te huruhuru ka rere te manu scholarship - for talented Maori rangatahi and John Walter Memorial Scholarship for students intending to study at the University of Canterbury inthe areas of Law / Commerce or Science. Each recipient will earn $7,000 towards university fees, a PwC Mentor and the opportunity to apply for a summer internship.

A University of Otago Entrance Scholarship for students of Maori descent (closing Aug 15) A value upwards of $13 000 towards fees or accommodation cost at the University of Otago.Applicants must be in the process of completing year 13 and be intending to enroll into full timestudy at the University of Otago.(www.otago.ac.nz/study/scholarships/database/otago014653.html) Tū Kahika (Closing Aug 15) A Foundation Year Health Science Scholarship Programme for students of Māori descent Supported by the Ministry of Health, Tū Kahika supports Māori students through a two-semester Health Science programme run within Foundation Year. You'll learn about the support available for Māori students and hear from current Otago students in different health pathways.
