Year 9 Scholarships

The 2027 Scholarship Application Period has now closed. Applicants will be notified directly if they have progressed to the interview stage.

Hastings Boys' High School is fortunate to have a number of scholarships available for our future Year 9 students. All students who have submitted their enrolment for Year 9 are eligible to apply.


To apply for a scholarship you will need:

  • Completed enrolment for Year 9 2027
  • Reference from a person outside the family, but not his teacher
  • Copies of the last two school reports.

For current Year 8 students who exemplify leadership qualities within their school or intermediate.

L.F Pegler Community Scholarship(s)
For current Year 8 students to recognise Endeavour within the community.

Academic

J.E. Tier Academic Scholarship(s)
Awarded to those Year 8 students who display Academic Excellence and Praiseworthy Contribution to their current school or intermediate.

F.W. Crist Cultural Scholarship(s)
Awarded for Excellence in Cultural Activities.

G. E. Thomas Arts Scholarship(s)
Awarded for Excellence in the Arts.

Awarded for Excellence in Sports.


Foundation

Awarded for Outstanding Overall Performance and contribution to their current school or intermediate.
