Course description:
Calculus is a branch of Mathematics that involves the study of rates of change. It
is used in a multitude of fields including physics, engineering, economics,
statistics and medicine. In Year 13 Calculus you will learn the fundamental skills
required to complete your study, in these fields, at tertiary education.

internal)
91575 Apply trigonometry methods in solving problems (4 credits, internal)
91578 Apply differentiation methods in solving problems (6 credits, external)

91587 Apply systems of simultaneous equations in solving problems (3 credits,
internal)
Entry requirements:
91261 Apply Algebraic methods in solving problems and/or
91262 Apply Calculus methods in solving problems and
Minimum of 10 Level 2 mathematics & Statistics credits
